General Assistance: must meet income and resource guidelines in order to receive County Medical Assistance. Also provides assistance with utilities, rent, food, clothing, funeral expenses, & transportation when all other sources have been exhausted.
Salvation Army: Providing immediate, but temporary emergency assistance that is not provided by another area agency. Types of crisis assistance is: transient meals, lodging, car repairs, gas, and medications.
