Individual and family counseling, sexual abuse treatment therapy, play therapy, foster care and adoption services, juvenile justice services, school-based services, independent living services. In-home substance abuse treatment services are also available. Also provides supportive and vocational services for adults with mental and/or physical disabilities. Fosters independence through community living skills, supported employment, supported community services, and residential services. Residential services include home and community-based services and community-supported apartment living arrangement.

Winter hours: Oct. 1 - April 30, Tuesday and Wednesday, 8:45 a.m. - 3:45 p.m.
- Christmas for Kids: Apply at the Keosauqua Sieda office. Must meet income guidelines.
- Child Development/Head Start: Center-based preschool meets (4) days per week, nutritious meals/snacks, health screenings, field trips, referrals, literacy/education needs, services/referrals for children with special needs, limited transportation provided. Must meet income guidelines or special needs criteria.
- Behavioral Health & Treatment Services
- Housing Stabilization Resource Center: Information & application for any Sieda program
including LiHEAP (heat assistance), weatherization, utility bill assistance, budget counseling. Includes information & referral to other service agencies. - FDSS (Family Development & Self-Sufficiency): a trained family development specialist works intensively with families to stabilize and assist them to become self-sufficient. Work is done in-home through regular visits. Tools used are assessments, goal setting activities, support, advocacy, group meetings, special needs assistance and referrals to community resources.

Van Buren County Child Abuse Prevention Council & SAFE Coalition
The mission of the Van Buren County Child Abuse Prevention Council is to prevent child abuse and strengthen children and families by providing and enhancing service programs that provide family support and education; promoting child safety and preventing child abuse; educating the public about child abuse and its prevention; encouraging community involvement; advocating; and participating in and promoting collaborative and unduplicated efforts that strengthen families to protect and nurture children.
The Van Buren County SAFE Coalition seeks to stimulate community involvement to promote responsible behaviors among youth and adults; leading to SAFE (Substance Abuse Free Environment) and healthy communities.
